This is hell, the hammering, the dust and noise. You better look nice renovated bathroom.
(picture is what I’m probably going for but with nicer faucets and sinks)

At some point here I should upload pictures of the remodel we did to our upstairs. I think you in particular might like it. Lots of mid-century modern, including those Eames chairs.

That looks really fancy and expensive. Too nice for my blood (as I say this with newly set calacatta marble hexagon floors ha).

Having spend the day checking prices in our bathroom showroom at work, I once again came to realize how expensive bathrooms are. Normally the orders pass by me in such a quick pace that I don’t have time to think about the prices. An example: we have a faucet called Starlet, for the price of which multiple decent old Toyota Starlets can be had. And we aren’t even an exclusive shop, we’re just a middle segment shop.
The picture you’ve got there is like nothing we sell though, marble tiles aren’t really in fashion here in the Netherlands at the moment, marble counter tops are a bit however, though most of the counter tops are ceramic. Though, I must say I quite like this one, it’s got a nice atmosphere.

Yeah, I’m probably going for lower-half marble and top half white.

Went over the project with my architect and we ended up deciding on white marble and burnt concrete porcelain tiles.

Ended up going against full marble, countertops and shower things will be white marble, the walls are going to be lower-half burnt concrete large porcelain tiles and upper-half white paint.
Porcelain tiles were not so expensive as I initially though. 8 square meters for 330 Euros, and those were the nicest one my architect could find.

I think what gets it me, in the above, is the light in the glass. I’m also a sucker for bathroom’s that look like they’re were meant for an upscale hotel. (‘My little retreat.’ daily)e

Same for me, I understand the niceness of something more casual and homey, but living in a building you sometimes want to walk into a cold marble bathroom in the morning and watching the city from the window.

Wow I really butchered my last post. I was exhausted when I typed it. Glad you understood what I meant with that catastrophe of a sentence.

I was a bit drunk, I probably made me understand better.
